Way to be an ideal citizen for a dictatorship

It is a mixed bag. One way, they are trying to tell people the best way to stop STD's is by not having sex. On the other hand they could get a little pushy with one method compared to the other. If any of you read 1984 you will remember that the government only taught abstinence to restrict people's freedom.

It is too early to say if this is good or bad, hence why I said history will tell whether this is good or not.

That's one of the big problems with the executive branch. This has been a problem ever since Andrew Jackson started the winner takes all policy of appointing positions. Every time a new president gets elected he has to appoint thousands of people to various government positions. Being appointed doesn't have anything to do with qualifications, it has only to do with political ideology. That dumbass who was in charge of FEMA when Katrina wrecked Louisiana is a perfect example.

Ryette;3393068I have a feeling that the '08 election will have the Reform party pulling quite a few votes, for the first time since Roosevelt's Bull Moose party, for that very reason.

Not the Reform Party, they are in tatters. The Greens, Constitution, or Libertarian Parties are the most likely contenders, all (I believe) are established parties in some states (ie Greens are an official party alongside Reps and Dems in Illinois).

It won't be Green, that I can assure you. Libertarian on the other hand, maybe.

You're probably right; at any rate, there will be a strong 3rd party. I think a lot of the 16-20 year-olds who will be voting on the 2008 election have grown apart from the Democratic and the Repulican parties.

Pethegreat;3393043 If you can't afford a pack of rubbers, you better be re-thinking some decisions.

It's not about supply, it's about education. And people in slums are not educated on these types of things...

I don't think the Green party is taken seriously in our country...when your unofficial party slogan is "kill the humans, save the whales", it kinda does it in for ya, but hey they can keep having their meetings in the VW Van with the commies, oh wait - tent, they don't belive in cars.

Just because they're black doesn't mean they're Africans running around having sex with kids to get rid of their AIDS. The white stuff makes babies. The rubber thing stops the white stuff from coming out. Just put that on a liquor store and you're set.

EO violation of the day!

I forgot to mention that there are broke, ignorant white people in Jerkwater, America who have no f'ing clue about birth control and/or condom usage. It isn't just the city slums who lack carnal protection and education...
