I was thinking today, well yea I was. Ive being reading a book series of wear Australia is invaded, not some pussy footed thing a full scale invasion, they've taken over the coastline and everything. Anyhow I group of people that were on a holiday return to the Country to find it Invaded. They go bush and turn to Guerilla Warfare. If you've ever read John Marsden's 'The Tomorrow' series you might know what Im talking about, but what Im reading it much more gory and powerful than that. Anyways to the point, I wish something like that would happen here. Just to break the routine Im in, to put something different into life, good or bad. I know there is nothing good about war, nothing glorifying, but I want it to happen, I dont know why. Anyone know a good Clinic? or Maybe Im not the only one insane?

Uhmmm couldn't you break the routine just by taking a holyday? Do some extreme stuff while your at it. You don't need a "invasion" to just break the routine.

I know it sounds a bit extreme and over the top. I used my routine as a feeble example. I actually go places quite alot, and would love to stay home. To me Im finding life something that wont change, at least not for a fair few years, Im just stuck on a constant path. I may not be able to provide the best examples or tell how I feel, Its hard to explain.

I understand what you mean. Its how in some lights, people can see nuclear war as intresting. Doesnt mean they want it to happen, or agree with, it would just be intresting.

Well...a full scale invasion of your country would certainly break your routine...I don't know where you live so I can't give you a guide on how to get your country invaded, though.

I guess in such a situation you'd quite quickly want to get back to your peaceful routine. If you want more action in your life try parachuting or martial arts. Or play some computer-games which cover the topics which interested you, Jagged Alliance 2 for example. I think you don't need to visit a Clinic just because you like to imagine to be like the heros from an interesting book, happens to the best of us ;)

Isn't it a bit selfish to wish the destruction of your country only so you can break your own boring routine? winkx.gif

Exactly. Sometimes when I'm bored, I've imagined what would happen if there was a nuclear war, or if the US was invaded. In either scenario, I forsee having a just cause to kill people, which is always a bit intriguing. ... Right? :lookaround:

Thats exactly how I feel, or as close as I can think of it to be. I have been Parachuting, I did martial arts for 4 years, even though I havent been on this planet long Ive done a fair bit. Moved houses 3 times Rural -> Heavy populated city -> back to Rural Two Thirds of the things Ive done that Ill benefit from later on in life is something my Parents have got me into. And the army? heh. One thing I think that has actually contributed to this is my parents or other adults. Just because Im a teenager (16) Im seen as someone immature and someone that doesnt understand. Being shunted to one side, or just having your opinion ignored. Ive gone off topic with what I began with.... ...I think too much sad%20%28frown%29.gif
