just came to my head which would you want to live under capitalism or communism. why?

for me it would be capitalism because the whole idea of everyone should have equal everything is bullcrap. why should a guy who works 80 hours a week to support his family get the same salary as a lowlife loser who does nothing.

I like the way communism, or pure socialism, works IN THEORY. So far I have yet to see it pulled off successfully. As far as existing systems go, I am forced to side with the capitalists. However, if a proper communist society could ever emerge, I would love to see how it works.

but thats where i see the draw back. if everyone had equal currency then everyone would be poor. there too many people and too little money to go around for everyone to be mid to high class. plus do you want the government owning everything u have they could go to your door step and take your computer away with no reason. do you really wanna live in a society where that can happen.

It all depends on the country. If a nation has enough money, then it can be distributed evenly and there would be enough for anyone. However, someplace like Bratislava or whatever probably couldn't make it work.

I am, as Stalin might say, a Capitalist Pigdog, all the way.

People who work hard to support their family should not have to pay for some homeless guy's dental plan. Those who are very wealthy, the majority of the time, earned that wealth through their own hard work, and should not have to pay any higher tax rates than Joe Schmoe.

My basic economic views: -Limit Government Spending. -No universial healthcare. -Limit welfare, or better yet, enforce the welfare regulations better. -Flat tax rates, and a simplified tax code. -Limit social security to the point where it can not be used as the sole source of income for retired people.

i dont think the US would make it either our country debt is somewhere around 500 trillion dollars. but hey if everyone could be on the mid class and high class side i would want it as well its just that theres not enough green for everyone and i wouldnt want the government owning me. alot of the freedoms we have now would dissappear. life aint a picnic you gotta give to get. if you dont you dont survive. and this is abit off subject but i hope castro dies soon cuz then Cuba has a chance to be free and my dad can go back and see it.

yes i can see your a reagan supporter. he sure was one of the greatest presidents but my english teacher says he was a fool with what he did with the arms race. then again my english teacher is the biggest commie, tree hugger, hippie i currently know, he even tries to spread his leftist influence on me and the other students, really pisses me off with wat he says about our troops killing babies.

7 trillion, i think is the number.

http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ damn, soon to be 8. it's increased nearly 1 trillion since last year. :S

anyway, i like to let the great prosper, the hard workers get what they deserve, and for everyone to have an oppertunity to make themselves something more.

Capitalism is what i want.

I want money (that's what I want) Yeah, that's what I want (oh yeah, that's what I want) That's what I want, oh yeah (that's what I want) That's what I want (oh yeah, that's what I want)

I'm stuck somwhere inbetween socialism and liberalism.

True capitalism is the spawn of Satan, and communism is flawed and does not work.
