Hmm...I thought we were different from China. ;)

Any thoughts to why this is censored in America? It's just a big explosion supposedly...:uhm:

I for one, welcome Big Brother.

This is rediculous, the gov is doing the same thing that china is doing. And yet our gov sued companies that help china in censoring the internet. Talk about hypocritical.

Hmmmn, that's really wierd, where'd you hear about it? Anyways, either I can view it because either I'm in Canada or they uncensored it, probably the former. If anyone's curious and can't view it, it's called Big Boom, it's 17 seconds long, it's description is "Detonation of Improvised Explosive Device used against Coalition forces. We found this one before they could use it against us.", and it's pretty uninteresting. It's just an explosion on road in a desert.

I've seen other videos like this, and I'm not sure exactly why they were banned, but its probably "national secutity" right? I mean, our government would never, ever decieve us. Isn't it ironic that Google has recieved some criticism from the Senate for 'giving in' to China and blocking sites, while our government (who I suspect had the video banned, Google themselves should have no other reason to do it) is doing the same thing? I suspect the government because of the subject matter of the video, Google is currently opposing the governments subpoena and I don't think they would find the need to abide by this ban if it really jsut an explosion.

But I suppose I'm a little bit of a conspiracy theorist at times. ;)

That's unusual, could it maybe be because someone possibly uploaded it from Iraq/Kuwait/Whereever, and the military doesn't want soldier's videos getting home publicly? Either way, it's still censorship, and it's what they were ragging on China for.

Anyways, what's the number for the media, because that's a pretty big story! :p

Its a bomb that blew up in the middle of nowhere, I dont see how it can be national security, or negitive publicity. Maybe its just a glitch, I hope.

That's why I'm saying if it is intentionally censored, it could just be censored based on where it was uploaded from (based on the IP or something).

if someone can get it to play, can they host it on some other site or something so we can view it.
