It's been a few minutes since I stumbled upon this, and I would like to ask, is this real, and if yes, what does it meen to you? Or what does it meen to americans here. And what is SCOTUS?

Catholicism is now the official religion of the USA

It's true. After 230 years of keeping church and state separate, the USA is now officially Catholic. This change was brought about by five members of the SCOTUS, all Catholic, who believe that civil rights should take a back seat to religious imperialism. Within the past week, the SCOTUS has demonstrated its intent to make god-fearing Catholics out of all of us. In one case, they ruled that a high school student can be censured for holding up a banner, not on school property or during school hours. The right to Free Speech is now contingent upon the content of the message. In the other assault on reason, the SCOTUS also ruled that taxpayers are not permitted to sue the White House for a flagrant violation of the First Amendment prohibition against state-sponsored religion. The Cretin-in-Chief is bestowing billions of dollars of *our* money on religious organizations to promote their operations. Even though it is our money, and he is clearly spending it illegally, we do not have the right even to challenge him in court. All hail Emperor Bush, the First Imperial President of the USA! The Bill of Rights is in the shredder! All we can do now is to hunker down, and wait until the majority of the SCOTUS once again is made up of people who value the Constitution, the rights of the individual, and the freedom to practice any religion, including no religion at all.

It's either a parody or the product of some conspiracy-theory type thinking. I wouldn't take it too seriously. If it were real, it'd sound less... juvenile, and it'd actually point to something concrete.

The Cretin-in-Chief is bestowing billions of dollars of *our* money on religious organizations to promote their operations

That's certainly true.

All hail Emperor Bush, the First Imperial President of the USA!

This leads me to think the writer of the article really doesn't know anything about the history of US foreign relations. The US has been imperialistic for far longer than 7 years...

Eh. In any case, do you've a link?

wraithcat;3760191what is SCOTUS?

SCOTUS = Supreme Court of the United States - although I have never heard it reffered to as such before. I don't know what "turning us all into catholics" has to do with kids holding up banners about getting high. Christianism??? I'd have to agree with Locomotor, this piece is juvenile and just plain rediculous.
