i dont think its getting more corrupted, i do believe that as you get older and more mature you see these kids messing up and realise how ignorant some youthfull persuits are.

Yeah, we're not getting more corrupt, it's just that a lot of people don't care about their future, and that's not exactly new.

Yeah, they are getting arrested more and more as well as getting in touble in other forms. I think its the rap and goth music that is corrupting the youth of America. Get rid of the rap and goth music and the kids will stop being so bad.

I'm not a fan of either, but I don't believe that music is corrupting them, anymore than Elvis corrupted the children of the 50s or the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin did to the children of the 60s and 70s. I just think that drugs and alcohol are easier to get and more prevalent. I don't think our generation is corruped any more so than any others.

I wouldn't say music's at fault. Every generation's previous generation criticizes their choice of music. This happened first with Jazz, then Rock and finally now with Rap. I don't think it's the culprit. However I will say this: every generation is, on average, is experimenting with drugs and alcohol 4-6 years earlier than their previous one. So there does appear to be some sort of degenerating going on here.

Rap puts the "New Idea" into the kid's brains basicly, and it just starts going downhill from there.

It's an influence. I do think more & more kids are lacking motivation to get a good job, nice family etc. And are turning to crime for money. Not much we can do unfortunatly.

I hate it when people blame stuff on media/entertainment, especially music, i mean come on, even though i hate rap, and i'm not sure what you mean by goth music, you mean like marlyin manson type of shit?, Because i hate that too, i dont think music is the case in corruption. Music might influence someone to swear more, or something, but thats about it, which i guess might be considered as corruption by someone. But i dont think that there has a been a big increase in corruption, its always kind of been like this. One difference might be that today a lot of kids drive, which allows them to do almost anything they want, a few decades ago, much less teens were driving, so that prevented some of them to cause mischief.
