The world is a lesser place that they are not here; if people shared those ideals of self-sacrifice today the world would not be in such a sorry state.
 Hear, hear. A toast to all those who risked or gave their lives in the invasion of Normandy.
:bows: *has a minutes silence* :bows: Words really can't describe how thankful i am for the people who were willing to to give/ and those who did give their lives so that i could live in freedom...
*moument of silence fo those lost* bless those to all who died and live and to my grand daddy operation peagus
I didn't make it!
Yes, god bless those people who threw away their lives for our freedom. And may we pray that our planet will continue to spawn such people.
*moment of silence*
It is an honor to know people who live today who fought for our freedom.
Whilst they did not fight in D-Day, they also did their service.
We are eternally gratefull for their sacrifice.
