I really feel ashamed by all the violences caused by Hitler and my country during WWII. That war was the darkest chapter of German history and it cost millions and millions of human lives. Great honor to all the allied soldiers who gave their lifes for the freedom of Europe. But I also feel for the German soldiers that died and who were abused by Hitler for his sick aims...

D-Day the day we remember every day everyone gave there lives to stop DEATH and to give us a rebirth for DEMOCRACY and freedom. And I don’t think they are from one nation ,one religion, one color or culture but they are men, women and children’s from every where they did there part in there own capacity they did what thy can do at that time and I am sure there was so many Germans who did there part to save this world and I think that was the hardest thing to do is to be a German at that time and to see that you been betrayed by your own government and kill so many innocent in your name, so the Germen people to are victims and heroes to, so don’t feel ashamed but feel prude for all the German who gave there lives to, for freedom.

It was a dark period. Hitler easily took advantage of Germany, when it was at it's weakest point, when people needed a leader. Germany was abused by Hitler, one of the evilest people to walk the earth. I've heard this from many Vets, and they state: "We had to do our job, and they had to do theirs." Anyways, we're good friends now! :)
