I'm not really scared of dieing. I'd rather not for a while, but hey, everyone does it. So I say, eh, right about late 70's is when i'd be ready.
I didn't make it!
its not dying thats so scary - its the way your going to die
No religion stuff, in this thread...?
What will happen to me after I die, I don't particularly care about. I'm a master procrastinator, so I'll worry about that on my death bed.
Scared of dying? Hmm. I'd vastly prefer not to die most of the time, but I wouldn't really say I'm scared. It's going to happen sooner or later anyway.
ok, leaving out all religion. Death is something that I am not looking foward to but would you really want to live forever? Now, scientists are very close to creating nanobots. The use of nano bots could greatly increase out life span. It could rid us of sickness and slow the ageing(sp?) process. But we all must die at some point in out life.
Religion aside, ya die when ya die...You can only hope that it's painless, and that people that love you won't die from heartbreak. I mean, when you die, you don't know that you're dead, so you can't say 'Gee, I wish I was alive' ... Religion included: I know where I'm going, so death isn't as 'haunting' :D That doesn't mean I want to die, it just puts doesn't trouble me when wonder what happens after death...But if I was in Terry Schaivo's position, take me to the morgue!!! :naughty:
No one gets out of this life alive, its inexorable. I'd really rather not die at the age of 15 though. When I die, I would prefer to be in my 80s-90s and have it be painless and quick.
I'm certainly not afraid of it. I'm a biggie on the 'one destiny, one road' type of deal (I don't buy the alternate reality for every decision dealy) so I know when it happens, that's when it was to happen and always would happen. Besides, I've always had an odd feeling I won't make it to senior citizen age anyway (don't ask why, I don't have a reason, I'm just sure I won't make it that far). What would life be if there was no end to it? IMHO it's a reason to live in the first place, make the most of what you've got and life is all the more special
I would die without GF

I intend to keep myself alive as long as possible, long enough to lead a productive, enjoyable life. Once I reach old age it will take a toll on my body, many things that I once enjoyed will begin to lose importance, and there will be little point to living much longer. It is how you die and how much pain is involved that instills fear in people, I think.
