I sometimes wonder at the futility of life. At the ultimate destination of living. Death. Why do we work and struggle and suffer to live when in the end we simply die? What is the point in life when all life is to end?

Before this really goes anywhere, this isn't another suicidal cry for help, is it? We've had a ton of those recently.

Emotion. In order to break through the futility of the mundane, you gotsa have yourself a good time! Seriously though, the point of living is to live. Take things as they come and enjoy it as much as possible. And who knows what happens after the end? Reincarnation? Rockin' with Jesus? Now thats something to look forward too.

It's a philosophical question. Try to see past the end of your nose, for fuck's sake.

The reason of living is to live i mean who wants to die? We dont actually have a say in it just like we dont have a say in death, the end result of living is death, there's no two ways about it.

This is one of the biggest questions there are. Why do we as people who live ones a fairly short time, waste our life on working and do shit we don't like? I don't have any answer. But I do know that I would be much happier if I where loaded with cash. You see, many people say if they ever got many they would work anyway. I say those are foolish people. Why work when you don't have to? You have one life on earth, after that its forever over. Why not make the best out of it? Travel as much as posible, live as you where 15 for as long as your body can take it. That's my motto. Of course since I'm not a rich person I can't do what I want when I want. But I always make sure not to stay in one place for to long.

This question often goes through my mind and the way to live in my eyes is to become rich and not have to work. Work sucks, it's what makes up most of your life and then when you're to old and frail to do anything you finally don't have to work anymore.

Hell if I could i'de never work another day in my life and do whatever the hell I wanted.

Only thing is no matter what you do you there's a 100% chance you'll die eventually, and everything you know will come to and end (unless any of the hundreds of religions turn out to be true).

Life is not futile, however worring about your inevitable death is.

As long as there are people you love and you have the chance improve yourself and your situation or that of others there is a point.

I can not put my idea of the point of living into words sufficiently so I wont even try. It is more a feeling or an attitude and is certianlly going to be diffrent from person to person.
