Pretty straightforward. What is an Arab? Where did Arabs come from? Are modern day Middle Easterners necessarily Arab? Are there simple answers to these questions or is it one of those constantly debated questions like what kinds of Colts did Delta use in Mogadishu? :p
Let's try to keep the Iraq war out of this. This is simply a historical lesson, not a political debate.
a member of a Semitic people originally from the Arabian peninsula and surrounding territories who speaks Arabic and who inhabits much of the Middle East and northern Africa
An Arab is anyone from the Middle East, or has Middle Eastern heritage. Someone from Turkey is probably not an Arab, someone from Iran is not Arab but Persian, but someone from Saudi Arabia is Arab. LIke Yod@ said, Middle East and North Africa.

Oh man... What would you do if I make a thread: Definition of Swede (55° 40' N, 12° 34' E = Sweden, right?) Or thread Definition of American...
I just think it isn't needed and it is a bit rasist
there is nothing racist asking about ,americans are peple living in america
but the term arab does not refer to a nation , it pertains to the whole middle east region
