The right to act freely should not be revoked unless that action infringes on another persons ability to act freely. This concept should be strictly upheld. Examples of actions that do not infringe on others are: Gay Marriage Not wearing a seatbelt while operating a motor vehicle Niether of these effect other people. These laws are in place because particular people don't understand the very basic idea of freedom. It's obviously more complicated for some people.

People, no matter what their sexual preference, have a right to whatever common courtesies everyone else in the world has. These are, without doubt, normal people. And it's up to them what they do with their lives. Gay marriage? Fine by me. In my view, it's barely worth a discussion of this magnitude. Now, Gay adoption, there's something I can understand people arguing about.
