White House Hints It May Appoint Bolton
I personally think his backround is too sketchy to be a U.S. ambassador. His track record for foriegn diplomacy isn't something to ride home about either...
EDIT: I screwed up. Could an admin make this a "Yes/No" poll, please?
The guy is a republican conservative going into something that is a little bit less than conservative. He doesn't even fit in.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

That`s probably more of a pro than a con, considering who is doing the hiring.
IS this the same guy that if he had it his way, he would totally abolish the UN?
The perfect guy for the job!
He's got a fine tache... perfect for the job.
jmo, mind you: The UN hasn't been worth a rodent's rectum since Dag Hammershield was head thereof. The USA has been more than the greatest benefactor nation to other members than could have ever been invisioned. It is now rife with petty, self indulging, self serving pseudo diplomats who's only purpose is to get something gratis from the United States. If there is anyone more capable than John Bolton to 'just say NO, or give me a damn good reason why I should say yes', please post so hereaafter. Not just yes, but hale yes !
he's a pretty offensive choice from the US. though, i'm not at all surprised.
the UN does not function. The US will continue waging wars and no one can do a thing about it. Still it does send food aids to poor countries.it doesn't matter whether this guy gets elected or not.
the UN functions. it just doesn't function the way america wants it to.
