Cancer sucks, if I ever got it I would just get really high off the morhpine or something and wait for the end. Even if you survive it you are still screwed down the line by the same crap they did to save you! And the costs are crazy to take care of that.

I just hope I don't die of cancer, stroke, heart problems, organ damage/failure, muder, terrorism, or any of the other wonderfull ways you can die. Just look in the obituaries, half of those people died of cancer, the other half of heart failure, and you have a sprinkling of luekimia and diabetes deaths. I guess to die from getting too old is simply wishfull thinking these days.

Although judging by how things are going now die I might wind up dying from famine, disease, nuclear holocaust, huge ass natural disaster, global warming, or something else that just seems crazy.

And what the hell is with all these death and sucide threads, this is just really depressing.

Heh, I have a T-shirt that says that. I got it a recent benefit concert for a student at my school who died of cancer recently.

And what the hell is with all these death and sucide threads, this is just really depressing.

It would seem the world in general is taking a turn in that direction.

You don't know what you've got, till it's gone.

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot.

Wait, forget that last bit. First sentence is the one to read.

That's the truth. We tend to take everything for granted.

Well, even then I seem to have a mre apathetic view. I may think "Well, that sucks", or ":(", but generally I am not affected that much. It concerns me to see others affected so much by something that doesn't seem to affect me at all.

I can relate. I sometimes shut out my emotions, and things that really hurt others tend not to affect me.

What it comes down to is, I feel sad... moreso a good bit angry when some one is killed, espescialy if they were tortured, I don't care whether they are next to me or on those other side of the world, I want it to stop, even though I know it won't. Then comes the conflict of murders, if someone killed someone, and then felt terrible about it, and wanted forgiveness, should they be killed? Those that they hurt want him to die, but is that enough for him to be executed, and what of the the executioner, what part do they play in murder? Are they murdering the man who was a killer, or are they killing a man who deserves it and no amount of remorse can ever change that? I suppose a part of me, a big part of me, wants to believe that murderers would feel sorry about having ended another person's live and that part wants to show some sort of mercy, but another sees no remorse for them, no sympathy for the sinner, it knows what mankind is capable of and this killer is simply evident of man's nature, and must be killed, because he is damned to death and deserves it and will suffer and die to serve vengence.

I tend to feel alot more for animals than people, oddly enough, I care about them from the time I see them, whether it be a squirl or a bird, or some insect that won't harm me.

I hold many insects and animals in a higher regard then most of the human race, mainly because they don’t kid themselves about existence, or their part in it.
