Abolishment of Afirmative Action and more funding and better leadership for all school districts. Also, make the teaching profession more attractive.
this is all nice and great, but where is the money going to come from? where are already spending too much as it is. and 3.0 w/ SAT of >1300...... not 20%. That kind of money isn't easy to come by. The easiest way I can think of to cum up w/ the $ wud be to scrap the CVX, but I don't want to do that.
My school is f*cked up! All my teacher give us projects at the end of the year when no projects are supposed to be assigned. During this time, known as the moratorium, students are supposed to study for exams, yet teachers pile on every project possible. I say this as I have 4 major projects due tomorrow, and I've done one, and its 10:15PM and I'm f*cked!
Another Brick In The Wall part III
Yea man, that song pwns, and it makes so much sense.
Now education does not seem so purposeful in the grand scheme of things. Look at it this way, each of us are one insignificant being in a sea of other insignificant beings. When we die, we are remembered by our loved ones but upon their deaths, we'll exist only as names on a piece of paper in some filing cabinet. Now we are just one planet, in a possible trillions of trillions of planets in the universe. How is my education purposeful if I'm only going to die in a few decades and leave nothing behind that would affect humanity?
