Should extreme winged parties or parties with ideas that might have quite far reaching consequinces be banned? Should we ban communist and racist parties? What do you think? Feel free to discuss a specific party such as the BNP but don't derail the complete thread. I think that extreme winged parties should be allowed, after all we are are democratic so if the citizens want to vote for a extreme winged partyt they should be able to do so. I would't be glad if some neo-nazi party would come to power but this is a democracy.

If your going to ban one party just because they are extreme left or right then you may as well revoke all political parties

Right wing politics is the way forwards, we live in harsh times and harsh times require harsh methods, we must guard the future of our way of life against any threat, be it, immigration, war, or the slow wear of time, we owe it to our ancestors, we owe it to ourselves, to face the future with steely determination and hard hearts, knowing that this is the only way we shall remain free, we are at war even as I post people are attacking our country, maybe not with bombs and planes, but they are attacking and we must stop them, the ends will justify the means no matter what the cost

I agree. This is where I am extremely right with. Illegal immigration laws are not strict enough. Welfare is corrupted. We need to enforce much more laws.

All this 'the right wing is the future' is rubbish, but no, they still should not be banned. Free speech and democracy are important, and if a majority ever decides to vote in a bunch of neo-Nazis that's their call to make. We'll cross that bridge if we come to it, but in the meantime, let them enjoy their rights to free speech, just as we let communists and radical Islamists do the same.

Right Wing is not the way of the future.

Not in the long run, but I think for the short run it is better. We need to fix what is corrupt. Then we switch to moderate. I do not know how Russia is on welfare, and illegal immigration, and various other problems. I know that Europe is facing a bad illegal immigration crisis though, and so is the United States. I think we owe it to the people to get rid of these illegal people, and to fix the welfare system.

***mode mode*** The following post by Mike 51 is from http://gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=128656&page=2 about the BNP party. Again: this is not my post! *** mode mode***

GedWhat do you expect if you ask for scientific evidence on race? There are many other books available. http://www.bnpscotland.org/booklist/index.asp

It doesn't matter what else they offer, the fact that all of their 'scientific books' talk about race, and the labelling on the basis of race, means that if how they think. The fact that they also have Andy McNab's Bravo Two Zero doesn't make any difference to me. But ok, let's keep playing this game. Fiction "A Germanic Mythology"... can anyone say 'Ayran'? "Camp of the Saints"... 'A welcome re-issue of this sensational novel about the destruction of a white nation by an Asian immigrant invasion.' Um... They also seem to love Tolkien, don't know why. I once heard it was racist, but I don't buy it myself. History "March of the Titans: History of the White Race" "The Zionist Factor" Nationalist Politics "Do We Need Mass Immigration" ... 'It imports poverty, increases social tensions, crime, public health problems such as TB and HIV and creates parallel communities. Anthony Browne argues for a zero net immigration policy and demolishes many of the myths used to justify mass immigration.' "Many Shades of Black"... 'Political biography of one of Britain's leading nationalists of the 1950s and 1960s' (presumably alluding to blackshirts, who were, as we all know, thoroughbred Nazis). "My Awakening"... 'Perhaps the most important book by an American nationalist in years. Duke explains how he came to realise the truth that should deeply concern the white race.' You'll notice how he equates nationalism with race there. "They were white and they were slaves" ... 'Indispensable in arming ourselves and our children against the historical tunnel vision imposed by the Establishment and against the exactions of the "diversity" industry and the "civil rights" racket. ' Miscellaneous "En route to Global Occupation" ...'high ranking Government liason officer exposes the secret agenda for world unification that even the most sceptical observer must take into account. ' Not racist, but still stupid. "The Nameless War"... by Arthur Ramsey, who was locked up for four years during the Second World War for... wait for it... joining and later heading the Nazi-founded anti-Semetic Nordic League, initially known as the White Knights of Britain or the Hooded Men (sound familiar?). Right, I'm bored now, and I feel ever so slightly dirty having to trawl through that crap. But hopefully it's illustrated my point.

I feel I should finish off the rest of that quote for you as you see fit to miss it out "Disturbing, but fascinating." A racist party wouldn't find it disturbing.

Well picked up on, except that they called it 'far-sighted', which indicates that they think that his vision of the future has come true. Hence, they mean 'disturbing' in the sense that they are scared of its implications, not that they find his attitude disturbing. Good effort, though.

We will be free of a stifling system that has chained our hands and restrained our further growth you can say, "they will cease to trade with us," but they wont, they cant afford to be without the fourth strongest economy in the world.

60% of our trade is with them. They take that away, how much longer are we 'fourth strongest in the world'? Not to mention that we are one of four trillion-$ economies in Europe; France, Italy and Germany are as wealthy or wealthier than us. We need them a lot more than they need us. In any case, perhaps this is for another thread.

Our welfare is made to help the most needy, Veterans, single mothers, Handicaps etc... So theres not much abuse or anything of the sort. And as for immigration it's pretty bad, but it's not like they are coming here to work for cheaper amounts of money like the mexicans do. So laws here really don't need to be strict.

In America, the welfare system is greatly abused. People who recieve it don't use the money for their families, but their beer and drug money. Also, people who need welfare are not getting, while people who don't need it are recieving. Some people recieve too much.
