Hey, this has been on the news a while now. Farepack, the Christmas saving company shut down. Perhaps 1 million people's Christmas have been ruined. Any views on this? I'll get some links up later. I think that it's horrible. I agree that childrens Christmas has been ruined. If you just think that say a family put in £1000 every month for 1 year, that's £12,000 that would've been spent on presents for their children and family, all gone. And now they've made a decision thateveryone will get 4p for every pound in conpensation (4%)! So if some put in £12,000, they'll get £480 back. I think it's horrible for the children. And they manager doesn't care! He's paying £2,000 a night in an 5* Argentinian hotel, he didnt have any comments and didn't issue a formal apology! What a prat!
The manager is one of those people that doesn't care as long as he makes money. The ultimate capitalist tycoon type person.
I agree christmas has been ruined for the children. Sure, it's supposed to be a religious event, but the brands have kinda ruined that. The kids don't care about the history as much as about the presents.
I agree with both of you, that's just cruel. Someone like that should be...I don't know, hurt...or...something. *pulls out whip*:donitz: Seriously though, this is just another tycoon prick who only wants money and just "happens" to shut down his company when there's tons of money that people have put into it for their Christmas.
