http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/23/girl.found/index.html Holy cow, can you imagine what this poor girl went through :(
LAKE WORTH, Florida (CNN) -- A police officer who came upon an 8-year-old girl buried in a Florida landfill said "hopelessness turned to hope" when a fellow officer saw a finger move.
What is with people! This kid should be put to death immediatly, no sympathy at all. I can't imagine being the parent in this situation, I really don't know what I would do. Should I trust the courts?
Wanna go Double Dutch?

Thats quite disturbing, ones again proves what kind of f*cked up people walk this lpanet :( . A miracle though that they found her, and even in time!
Wow. I guess it could have been worse though.
"She was in a lot better condition than we thought she'd be in. She was able to actually name her attacker while she was still in the Dumpster.
Some people...*shakes head*...Sometimes people just disgust me. Just shoot the bastard.

I don't think she has much trouble thinking of something to do: ""If I could put my hands around his neck, he would be dead," the girl's mother told The Palm Beach Post. "He left my daughter to die." Is society as we know it coming to an end because of an isolated incident? Nope. Do I know why someone would do something like this? Nope. Do I know what the girl's mother would be feeling at this point? Nope, but I can guess from the above. Do I know what the girl must have gone through? Nope. Do I think this thread will turn into another of those always entertaining, "I'd rip his balls off! Then feed them to him! With bad cheese!" threads? Yep.

well it's good to get it off your chest when you hear shit like this happening. It beats the typical Bash Bush/USA posts, eh?
What I was thinking when I posted was how that poor little girl felt in that situation. must have been hell. Being buried alive has to be one of the most feared things.

It sure does. That's why my grandmother wants to be cremated when she cashes in her chips -- she's heard one too many of those miracle stories, of people waking up in the morgue. I wouldn't be too scared to bet money on that girl being at least slightly claustrophobic now.
Good thing medical technology is advanced enough to prevent accidental live burials just about all the time now, then. But yeah, it'd be pretty horrible. See The Fall of the House of Usher, among other things.
Is it just me or arehumans getting stupider? :wtf:
