Ensign RilesWell, this is actually quite common in the U.S. so it isn't that much of a surprise that it happens elsewhere as well.

I disagee, that is not common here in the U.S...I know that there are some sick puppies out there...but c'mon....i would have remembered a beheading at a psychiatric hospital:rolleyes: .. I'm sorry that those nurses had to die like that...Where in the hell were the security guards!!! Talk about a breakdown in the system...What's the point in haveing guards when your staff is getting murdered and beheaded? I think it's time for a major overhaul in sercurity at that hospital...

Sad and disturbing indeed. Blame it to the TV.

I never said there were beheadings, I said murders. It is more common than you may think. Mental illness can really interfere with "moral" judgement. I am not saying murder is necessarily bad, I'm just saying it is common in those places.

I'm sorry, your right murder is common place here..:( .. I'm not going to try and spin it by saying it happens every where.... It's just ..that why does someone have to die because of a system failure. .before someone finally gets off of their ass and does something about it.. Doesn't anybody see the signs or cracks in the system.. I wonder if the security guard just turned his radio up to drown out the nurses screams

Man....FRANCE of all places. I was expecting like some Middle East country...but France? Damn...they may be growing a backbone finially...

Why would someone cut off a head and leave it on a TV?

I have NO idea what you're trying to get at with that first statement there. Honestly, I don't even know where to start in order to understand. BUT...your question is a good one, why leave it on a TV? Who knows, I guess we can try to get into the mind of a killer.
