SedistixAs homosexuality is an affront to God, what’s the point in seeking marriage under god, too add insult to injury?

Whose God? Your God or their God?

JillThat is very interesting MrFancypants. Since I known you...you are very sincere, open and consistant with your views. I respect your openmindness.[/QUOTE] Well, thanks for that. Usually I'm just the forum-communist ;)

The church dictated sexual behaviour in Germany for a long time and since this influence is gone life is much less complicated over here.

All I have to say on this matter is, that it is ok to be homosexual and gay marriage is perfectly fine. It's a choice people make with their lives and who am I to say that they're lifestyle is wrong? There's nothing I hate more than assholes who go around saying "omgz, fags must die!".

All those uber religious folks out there need to realize that they're not the only ones that populate this planet and if they're really so against it, they need to quit complaining and do the obvious thing- don't marry another guy. It's that simple, problem solved, everyone's happy!

Who cares, let the homos be homos, and let the straight be straight.

Homos may do whatever it pleases them, but one thing and that is adopt children. I don't like the idea that homosexualls should be allowed to adopt children, like they are in Holland for example.

Hmm. I agree.

On Homosexuals:

Whatever, let them be promiscuous and flamboyant, I don't care (I will never condone it, but then again, I am an intolerant bigot :uhm:). However, marriage is out of the question, as far as I'm concerned. But then again, marriage as it is today is a mess. It's more a property arrangement than anything, and that's disheartening.

Simplicity is not necessarily good. The Nazi Regime's forum policy was simple, and the USSR had a simple economic policy regarding agriculture, but that does not mean these things were good. (No, I'm not comparing it to the USSR - you know what I mean. :) )

I know I annoyed you enough with rules for today, but please don't use so many abbreviations. It's rule number one of those new pub-rules :)

Why are you two debating "the bedroom"? I think you will find, MrFancyPants, that this debate is no longer about outlawing sodomy (it was never about outlawing "homosexual sex", it was about preventing rectal damage from anal sex ;)), it's about defining marriage.
