I find it a little ass-backward that Ferraro is saying Barack Obama is winning only because he is black. If Hillary Clinton wins the election that would be because she is a woman, not because she is the better or worse candidate. What are your guys views on it?
OK, but wash it first

I frankly think it is bullshit either way. When it comes to politics, I see no race or sex. Only positions on the issues of the day. Unfortunately, most americans don't see things the same way. Even so, and while a larger number of black americans have voted for Obama in the primaries, I doubt that race/sex has a highly significant effect on this contest. If Obama wins the Democratic nomination, it would be more likely because he is much more charismatic than Clinton. If Clinton wins, it would be more likely because she has a more experienced policy background.
This where you are wrong, a lot of people are stupid enough to pick based on who they like better, a woman or an african american? As far as I'm concerned they are both decent candidates and would do well. Unfortunately, this debate might progress far enough that people would stop caring, poke their fingers in their ears, and say "la,la,la" and "I can't hear you".

The way I see it Clinton's campaign involves far too much mud-slinging that relies on race, gender and religion. I wouldn't vote for someone who uses all sorts of bigotry to her advantage.

Ferraro, old-school feminazi; she professes about equality, but this hasn’t been the first time she has “slipped” about how she truly feels about people of color. She reminds me of the Reagan Southern Democrats. She is a bigot and I see right through her. It does not surprise me that Clinton would seek her as one of her “agents” to usurp Obama. Now Clinton is doing the back peddle thing because using Ferraro backfired and she is doing what Obama is about “no guilt through association” with his reverend. I truly dislike and mistrust politicians. Truman said it best: “the day you become a politician, is the day you condemn your soul to hell.”
