Well yeah, theres not too much point in joining, then not wanting to go to war. Its like being a diver, and not wanting to swim...

This is the price you pay for advertising the military as a career path rather than a life-risking, brutal killing machine. Rumour has it that when the whole Iraq thing was first kicking off, people were trying to quit the army. Why? Because they advertised it as a career instead of an army -- people seriously joined the armed forces seriously thinking they'd never be called upon to kill another person. Recruitment drives are fine, you just don't want to recruit this sort of guy.

People who fall for that are either dumb as hell or have no brains at all. They know that its a life risking career. It can also be a carreer with an unique experience and thats why its advertised as such.

Well, I wouldn't go as far as calling him a ' coward piece of shit' or a 'fucking douchebag' after all he did go there once already. But I do still stand by my previous statement in this thread.

I don't blame him. If I were him i would quiet the army.

Police (...) charged his cousin, Ronald Fuller, with aggravated assault and other charges.

He gets charged because somebody asked to shoot him in the leg? uhm.gif

I do blame him, he knew what was waiting for him when he joined the army.
