RHSRunner88As a republican, I am ashamed to see our party headed in the direction it is in.

Kerry is very much more articulate. Any hope we could of had at making ourselves look better in the eyes of Europeans went down the drain when Bush won again. This republican administration is an embarrassment to America.

I salute you for being the first republican I've ever met to admit Bush is embarassing. :)

If USA invades Iran they wont survive. Maybe they'll defeat the Irani army, but remember that Iran openly supprts various terrorist factions and organizations (like Hizbollah) and has a more brainwashed population than Iraq. Those in Iran who would like to critisize Islam don't dare to open their mouths or they would get killed and the rest just follow the religion blindly, maybe without even have read the Koran. My point is, if the USA invaded Iran, they would face a so damn big resistance that they would have to pull out from the Middle East. The Shia's in Iraq would probably get pissed off too.

All I can really say is chose the lesser of two evils. Politicians are politicians are politicians. I wouldn't say Bush is stupid, but we would be in an even more dangerous situation if he did not have the rest of his administration, especially Karl Rove. Rove is the brains, and I worry where we would be without him, although it is safe to assume he would not be president without him. Seeing Bush going at it alone in the presidential debates, especially the very first one, scared me. Kerry goes over the top trying to confuse his audience into just letting him do whatever he wishes, yet Bush can be completely clueless. Neither of them is any good, they do not truly represent the country, nor is their country necessarily their primary priority.

How do you represent such a large country, that's so divided between two different ways (levels?) of thinking?
