Last weekend I went up hunting, I noticed that there were alot of green gates closing roads. Next to it said a sign "No motorized Vehicles". WTF? So hikers can walk in, I don't have a problem with that, but guys can ride their horses in? Thats dumb. Why are they even closing these roads to motorized vehicles anyway? At least let me drive in there to pick up my game. What do you think?
Next thing. I ride dirt bikes, and in idaho, it seems as though alot of trails are being closed down to no motorized vehicles. WTF? In the dirt bike world, we have to buy a sticker yearly, it pays for those trails. We have to have it stuck on our bikes, or we get a ticket. I don't see a sticker on a horses ass, or on a mountain bike. You get all these people that move up into the mountains, where those trails are, then they complain about the "noise". First of all, YOU moved to the trails. the trails didnt come to you. Second, a harley makes more noise than a dirt bike, so its alright for a harley to ride down a city road, but a dirt bike in the middle of no where that you happen to move to is too loud? stupid.
Well, some people might not like the noise, and then there's the other hunters, they dont like the noise, either.
Mostly its the enviromentalists, the dirtbikes do tear up the ground.
The noise? On a Gravel road? they made a road there for a reason.
When you go dirt bike riding, you dont run up and down where ever you please. You stay on a trail, that was made. Sure, if its a big desert, flat and nothing on it, im going to scream across it. Horses do leave tracks, have you ever looked at a cattle trail? its tore to hell. So eventually horses can have the same effect on the ground if you get the trail pretty beat down.
True, but I said: 'eviromentalists.'
Yeah, they are retarded... if anyone here is an eviromentalist, and i have just offended you... good.
