Blank Stare;4804243Did you even read my post? =p

I thought you were referring to his glorification of acid among other things? Was that not a point you were making along with the pothead point?

No, I use Marijuana and have taken Acid/Shrooms a couple of times.

However, there is a big difference between Videoslave and myself.

Weed was about as much as I did, and even that wasn't much of it..just in high school when it was moderately cool.. What are your experiences with acid & magic mushrooms? Better to hear it from someone who tried it?

It is a fact that hallucinogenics can relieve depression.

I have read plenty of articles and stories pertaining to this.

Been hashed out already if you'd read more than the thread title and/or the first post. ;)

I supplied one of them. Too bad the plant comes with side effects including paralysis, bad trips, and emotional strain.

Give me links pertaining to more main stream drugs, please.

Tank!;4799884Let me tell you all a story. LSD, Shrooms, Salvia, DMT, Ketamine, and all other intense psychoactive drugs can fuck you the hell up mentally. There is something called "Ego Death" where the person experiencing it completely forgets everything about their lives. About everything, they become like infants with no memories or knowledge whatsoever. Then, every single memory and bit of knowledge they previously knew will rush back into their head, except, the brain rexamines and puts a new sentiment or opinion on them.

What is the result of ego death? Well, this is an extremely volatile subject to go into. Basically, it completely changes your personality, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but you are not the same person you were before. Ego death can occur while tripping on large amounts of any psychelic. Mind you, large doesn't mean giant. A normal dose of LSD is about 1-2 tabs. Taking 4-5 can induce ego death. A normal dose of shrooms is about 1/16 of an ounce to 1/4 of an ounce. A 1/4 oz is a lot, but still fine. Anything more than a 1/4 ounce can induce ego death.

So yeah, psychedelics fuck you the hell up.

Wow. The government have taught you well.

I made up my mind I'm sticking to delta 9 tetrahydrocannibol products and I'm quiting salvia becuase I swear that doing it twice in the summer time made me go retarted for a few months and I falied 3/4 subjects. Now that I'm sticking to weed I'm doing much better ;) Also I've made a new thread kinda like this one check it out. http://forums.filefront.com/pub/393061-medical-marijuana-should-right-me.html

With depression weighing heavily on both sides of my family, I naturally get the brunt of it.

That being said, I smoked a lot of dope to see if that would quell my depression just a little bit. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) enough, it just made me brainless and lazy. Conversely, a month later after I ceased smoking, I've become so bitter, inhuman and wrapped up into my own ridiculous malaise that I can rarely crack a smile unless I'm with close friends or family. Then I start hitting the bottle heavily, so it's just like a triathlon with drugs, handing off one baton and picking up the other. Being depressed and angry all of the time is really unhealthy, though low and behold...

...I don't have insurance, so no medication for me!

And I thought I had issues, jesus...

Is that some sort of thinly veiled insult?
