have you ever noticed that those warning colors for terrorism stopped just after the election? have you noticed that they are going to amend the patriot act, using the war on terror as their excuse? The war the government created? the administrations intentions are obvious, yet people still believe that it is all good. i had a bunch of others in mind but i forgot about them, ill bring em up later.

Most people don't give a second shit about the color-coded terrorism alerts. Almost everybody knows it was a propaganda tool, and the ones who didn't know would have voted for Bush anyways. Really, this is just another Bush-bashing post.

...that when the cessena (sp?) plane flew into a no flyzone over the white house, Jets intercepted it in a matter of minutes, yet when 2 boeing 747's fly hundreds of miles OFFCOURSE, and stop all radio communications, that there were no fighters anywhere?

If people know its propaganda, why havent anyone done anything about it? we cant let this happen! there is a reason for bush bashing threads, he IS the next stalin, or hitler, whichever one you would prefer

i DONT want to be controlled by a fascist president with a mask of democracy

1. Use the edit key, buddy.

2. Because the Cessna was just about over the White House. High-level targets in immediate peril are one of the few things that will awaken the bureaucracy, especially when they're the target.

3. Why don't they do something about? I'll tell you why. Most people don't give a crap about that sort of thing, and the people who do have more important things to worry about than a bit of ineffective propaganda, considering all the effective propaganda Bush has disseminated.

4. And he isn't the next Stalin/Hitler! He isn't interested in killing civilians, he isn't interested in dismantling democracy, and he isn't interested in removing freedom. He is only interested in making America more powerful. It is this singular interest that has led to all his other failings. This is a key difference. Hitler and Stalin, their singular interest was personal power. Bush doesn't want that. He wants to leave this country as he feels it would best operate to secure freedom and prosperity, and he's willing to pull out the stops to make sure it happens.

I can't stand Bush. I think he's a horrible president, one of the worst, and I hope that he gets removed tomorrow. However, I do not believe that his plan is in any way intentionally pernicious or tyrannical. He is fundamentally a good person, just misguided. Misguided power is a sad thing.

Of course it matters! But at this point, we can't really fix the corruption, can we. Accept that Bush is President of the United States of America. Accept that he will actively pursue policy that is detrimental to United States interests, and that he will believe the entire time that he is leading us to Paradise.

Have you done that? Ok, now either see what we can do about it, or keep your arguments in the hypothetical. We do what we can.

Note: I added stuff to my previous reply.
