'Dreadnought[DK;3450609']Go somewhere else if you want to trade insults (that means you Jeffro). Keep the tone clean or sod off.

Can you say Christian priests and their little choir boys? (the leaders of your much vaunted Christian faith)

Don't throw stones when you yourself live in a glass house.

I concur... Elderman you're not endearing anyone to your cause. Or that of Jesus for that manner.

Take a scripture from the bible and show you really are a follower of Christ and heed the words at Proverb 12:8

There exist one who is speaking thoughtlessly as if stabs of a sword. But the tongue of the wise one is a healing.

Which behavior do you believe you're representing.

Lord_Exar_Kun;3450987some could say the bible is evil and immoral.

So then you condone the decrepid depiction of heaven in the Quran and theology of Muslims? Is that what you mean by avoiding this question?

Me (phistopheles);3450554The only thing I fear more than religious fundamentalists are fanatic atheists who try to delude people and justify everything with their logic / ideology.

atheists causing more death then religion, priceless

I am sorry if you have never heard about Hitler, Stalin or Mao. I did not say that atheism (as well as religion) is bad in general. Fanatism is. Think about it. FYI: I am not religious, too.

OK. I'll try a different approach: I find the depiction of heaven in the Quran dispicable. They do not depict heaven in a way that I find acceptable or paletable. Anyone else agree with me?

I think you see immoral things in the bible and believe that God endorses them. But it is very frank about what has happend in the past. It doesn't shirk it responiblity to history.

I also think that you have a problem with God taking the right to enforce his laws against the lawless.

Hey, we're talking about the creator and the future of mankind. This is not some little sunject. It's the most important subject in the world. Perhaps because you do not believe in God is why you do not see this, and why it must be known throughout the world why people should care about not being evil and such. It's also why you don't understand Christianity perhaps. But I'll let you know if I ever become a real fanatic and strap a bomb to myself and go into a crowded restaurant. Oh wait. No, I guess I won't. Well, that's not going to happen anyway.

I have to disagree with you. Law requires enforcement...the very idea is called justice and that is a moral ideal.

I think that you're remarkabley sensitive and that's a wonderful quality. I wish others were like you. Then there would be no need for the ultimate punishment.

I understand some laws need enforcement, I know in Texas they still use the chair? but I feel the greates punishment for a man or women to recvie is the skorn of there God (or Gods depending on faith) for that is the ultimate punishment one can have. I personaliy don't like to use violence as means to get one's point across to another, I perfer to talk...some call me pansy for not putting up my dukes...but hey...voilence breeds more voilence
