USMA2010When we were pushing for the invasion, she was for it. Now she is against it. It's bullshit like that which I am referring to here.

It would have been political suicide either way to oppose or support it. Like most politicians, it is near suicide to oppose what the majority are for, especially when it is set up in a way to make sure that any future opponents appear hypocritical no matter what they say. Anyway, it's good that women are trying to run for president, about time this free country sees some diversity...

There have been women running for president for many years. None of them have been popular enough, however, to get to even through the primary elections.

My top choices would be Rice or Giuliani. Although Chuck Norris wouldn't be bad either...

/me nods to SeinfeldRules, Aeg, and Red Menace.

I know, but she's been in the spotlight for years, there isn't a whole lot we don't know about her. She seems as strong-willed as Bush, so I would believe voters would not expect any surprises from her. Given Bush's current ratings, there could be a shift towards a democratic president next election. I think she has a chance. Of course it depends on who else would be running...

USMA2010Cut defense spending. After all, she is a Democrat.
Cutting the defence spending a bit doesn't necessarily ruin your armed forces which are clearly superior to any other armed forces in the world in the terms of quality and efficiency. Some could say that your armed forces are even too big for modern warfare which is concentrated on the war on terror. Besides, she would use those money for the good of the people.

She would, beyond any doubt, try to make us play nice with Europe. I don't mean just get along, but only do things when the EU-3 says that it's OK to do so.

I strongly doubt it: I think she has enough sense of patriotism to defend the interests of the USA but in the same time, listen more what other major powers have to say. Like said, deepening the international cooperation and strenghtening the UN.
I'm not even gonna argue with you. Its like proving that women are physically weaker than men. This is worst than Saddam's trial where he must be proven guilty of genocide even though the fact is the kurds were GASED.

In the other words: you can't counter my arguments and want to keep your narrow, concrete firm views about different things, even if you are clearly proven wrong. What ever.

I don't need to prove anything to you. I don't need to prove to you that the human brain is different in males and females

Then you shouldn't be in these forums in the first place if you can't discuss with people who disagree with you and counter your points. What is your reason to be in these forums if you can't take into account what other people think & say and even learn something? You can always put me into your ignore list, no-one is stopping you.

Besides, no-one is saying that human brains aren't different between males and females...

Defense spending cuts wouldn't be as bad as you'd think. More money would (should) be going into education, healthcare, etc. I know that after 9/11, security/defense is a big issue, however do you honestly think that we are much safer than before? Cargo still goes unchecked, that nutjob with a bunch of weapons came across the border from Canada with ease. Hell, even the 9/11 panel says we are still at risk for another terrorist attack.
Antigaming? Lol, she is just in favor of having laws against "adult" games being solled to little 11 your old kiddies. Pretty much as what applies to movies now already. She isn't banning games all together or trying to ban "bad" games altogehter.

She was pushing for a change in the ratings from "M" to "A" and there is only a one year buying difference between the two ratings. How does that improve anything at all? The seventeen year old urging to buy the "adult" rated game can just ask one of his older buddies to get it for him. And I think parents should be responsible for setting their children's limits, not the government...

I frankly, dont care about the restriction of M or AO games, afterall I am old enough to buy them anyways. So that wont influence my vote much. Whats kind of funny is the same people that vote will be old enough to buy M rated games anyways. :p

And older brother can get you alcohol, a smoke, softdrugs (not ilegal here) aswell, let you drive his car etc. I guess we better stop putting age restrictions on all of those things then? Nah let the parents decide when you are ready to drink, smoke or drive since we all know parents never ever make mistakes and always know what tehir childrens are doing at all times...

The "but you can easily bypass this law" and "the goverment shouldn't interfer with private issues" don't hold water in my opinion. Not to mention age restrictins on movies are considered yet when we talk about games everybody freaks out? Strange, very strange.
