The 13th RaptorI have an idea, its harder to hit then the broadside, and it might damage your future wall decoration.

Actually that's exactly why. Especially if it's a buck.

But there's also the added fun of trying to track down a large animal via a blood trail in the near-dark.

Mast3rofPuppetsA deer dies instantly when shot with a shotgun (they die of shock). If someone shoots a moose in the hip he should be stripped of his hunting license IMO. A hunter never aims for the head, they aim for the heart.

That's actually not true at all. I shot my first deer straight through the heart and he ran a good 50 yards or so. I'd like to see one of the people in here do that.

MihailI know you are, but it's okay.

Did my little sister hack your account?

Faction. You nail that with a rifle or arrow? Bow hunting is my fav.

I actually shot my first Deer in the front (I stood right up in front of him and blew him in with a .450 Boxer Henry bullet, from my Martini Henry...) The deer died on the spot with a hole where his heart was. He was also 12 feet away.... And also the only piece of camouflage I wear is my hat, because being too concieled is like I am a Marine again and I only wanted to go through that once... [EDIT] Here is a pic of a Boxer .450 cartridge compaired to the .22 lr round [EDIT] martini12stor.jpg
