You thought there was only length, witdh and depth? forget it! there's 7 more!
Nice! I always wondered what the dimensions meant.

Quantum physics provides us with a way to predict the location and motion of particles as a probability equation but it doesn't necessarily tell us that the particle could be somewhere other than where it really is. It's just a way for us to take a guess at where the particle really is based upon our limited data set. Saying that the forth dimension is time is a bit of a stretch and from that point on it just gets more difficult to justify.
Let me get this straight; The 10th dimension is everything?
While this video is no doubt very interesting, it's also just an idea some guy had. This is not how the additional 7 (that's right, according to the latest M-theory there are 11 dimensions, not 10) are viewed by string theorists. The most common explanation of why we can only see 4 dimensions, is that the other dimensions are incredibly compact. Imagine a garden hose. From far away it looks like just a line (1 dimension), but if you stand next to it you will notice it actually has 3 dimensions.
Also realise that the string theories are completely mathematical, there is no physical evidence of any kind to suggest the existence of strings. (Though this doesn't mean it's not a good theory, it only means are equipment isn't refined enough.)

Location or motion. ;)
All I have to do is listen to the "Tenth Dimension" to imagine it.
Actually one of my favourite albums.
I thought there were 11 dimensions? At least, theoretically?

Last time I checked there were only 3 :lookaround:
yeah same here
well. yeah, it's only a guy "imagining the 10th dimension". but it's still very interesting.
