I think it's time for good scientific debate. So, what's you view? Do you believe that some intelligent supernatural being created everything in the universe? Do you believe that everything in the universe and the universe itself came about due to purely natural processes? I, as most of you probably know, believe that the universe was formed by the christian God. Strong evidences for the ID theory come from the fields of cosmology, physics, astronomy, biochemistry, biological information, and human consciousness. I'd like you to show me some "stronge evidences of naturalism." And feel free to ask me any questions. I'm a well of knowlege. :p

On what level is this debate gonna take place? Is it: A half evolved eye cant possibly give the owner greater or even equal fitness than the other specimens! Or is it: Everything you just wrote on evolution is just placed here to test us in our faith!

I ask because these creationism vs. evolution discussions often turn into stubborn head butting due to peoples different approach depending on which they believe

Well I hope it will be neither. I don't like creationism (anymore) because you have to prove a literal interpretation of Genesis and such, ID vs. N should probably put things in another light. I hope this debate will be better than the others we've had here.

I hope too. The previous debates were all a bit similar.

ID doesn't really state that the Christian God created everything. It just says that an Intelligent being created everything. It's just my belief that the Christian God created all.

People don't look alike, because they adapt to their surroundings. :p

Now this is not a creation vs. evolution. It's Intelligent Design vs. Naturalism. All I'm trying to prove here is that life could not exist without a God.

Both the Intelligent Design and Darwinian Evolutionism theories are hogwash in my eyes. The [Darwinian] view that living beings progress from one level to another, each higher than the previous one is just as absurd as a divine entity selecting Man as his Chosen. "Natural Selection" is a far more plausible concept, although that and "evolution" are often confused. What causes cases of Natural Selection [environmental changes or what have you] may be Divine Intervention or just plain bad luck - a case of wrong place at the wrong time. Divine Intervention is one good possibility behind Natural Selection, but it is not fact or even proven beyond all reasonable doubt and therefore not necessary in education.
