Interesting? We're possibly looking at a nuclear conflict. I don't think interesting is a word that I would use to describe it.

I didn't mean to imply anything like that, I just mean the situation certainly is an interesting one.

The term you are looking for is 'downright worrying'.

WWIII here we come!

The UN won't do a thing as long as China and Russia have veto powers. Shame goverments today don't have the balls to take care of this. The only hope for this to end soon is either A: a revloution overthrows Iran's goverment or B: someone gets fed up enough that they bomb Iran's facilities.

Amen mate.

By the way, good to see that I'm not the only person who openly loves the idea of Halo 3. Bravo!

Oh sweet Jesus, Relander is viewing this thread! Maybe he's back for a while. Finally, someone worth debating...

I seriously hope that the UN finds a common way to solve this problem, but I'm not that hopeful as China and Russia seems to have somewhat close relations with Iran. They aren't just seeking oil from Iran, but some sort of political partner from the Middle East and they want to show for the world how they have their own strong foreign policy which is very important for major power, especially if it seeks the status of superpower.

PethegreatWWIII here we come!

I don't think that we're in that position yet, right on the contrary: it's a global problem, but not enough severe to start a major conflict between major powers.

i dount think we should go to war unless we got a large coalition. im hearing that not enough troops in iraq, but iran is over 2 times as big. i would only go if we got the UN to go and a large chinese/ russian force also.

We will never go to war with Iran; Iran has neither the ability or resources to attack America. The key avoid this heating up is to just ignore them. Iran is incapable of doing any major offensive in the US. Let's hope that Iran does wipe out those stupid Israelis though, we would finally have no reason to be in that region. This is Israels problem, they can find their own fucking way to deal with it. I only hope Iran takes Israel with them, anything else is cool with me as long as the rest of the world is left alone.
