The FCC is just a big ol' corporation that wants money. More money. Did they mention money? They're on it.
They don't care if what they do makes no sense, is immoral, or is absolutly the worst/most retarded thing anyone has ever done.
Censoring SPR was the worst publicity they could get. And on Veteran's Day no less. Hell, I bet all of them are in their 40's, without a clue as to what went on over there and what their fathers and grandfthers had to go through to give them life, only concerned with the nxt payment on thier Mercedes.
F*** off FCC. 1st Amedment please!
i have to say, i found it hilarious when spielburg spoke about how he would let his kids see SPR, even though they were like 17 or so... now cmon, my 10yr old bro has seen it and hes not mentaly scarred for life. i think ppl take things the wroong way, they are brought up being told things are bad to see, and thats wrong in my eyes. i think showing SPR unedited on TV is the deff right thing it do, i cant possibly imagine SPR being edited, it just wouldnt be worth whatching... how could you do the opening scene?!
Yeah I mean I saw SPR when I was about 9-10 years old. I just thought it was "cool" for a while but then I started realizing the reality of it all. I think it has actually affected me for the better.
I thought Hanks deserved that oscar, not that stupid Italian guy, who did "Life is beautiful" I hate him Grrr....
