So far "Inside The Twin Towers" is pretty much the only documentury to show me something I didn't already know, and it was one of the few shows on the 9/11 incident.

Why do they have specials on 9/11 every couple of days to weeks? Because the average american is apathetic towards european crysis just as the average European is apathatic towards american crysis, it's a world away, 9/11 was in america and that's what the American public cares about and that's what can be made money off of. If they showed specials on the Beslan bombing over here, few would watch, if they showed 9/11 specials in Russia, few would watch.

It's like they're doing it to try and remind everyone why the US is in Afghanistan and Iraq and trying to justify it all.

Congress or something just released something ( read this in newspaper, sorry dont have exact source) that there was NO connection to terrorists and Iraq, and that Saddam was even afraid of terrorists in Iraq.

Saddam was even afraid of terrorists in Iraq.

Hes was afraid of even more instablity, he was barely in control after UN sanctions were placed on iraq.

Yes, it was a terrible day. Yes, we should remember it. Yes, those who were in any way responsible should pay the consequences.

No, we shouldn't have to watch the same bloody thing over and over again.

im glad to see other people are looking at this the same way i am. we need to remember what happened, but not dwell on it. we need to focus on what has happened sinse then. you didnt see posters in WWII in 1945 saying "remember pearl harbor". the media should spend its time educating the public on various terrorist organizations instead of just Al Quiada and Hezbalah. if we are going to "wage a war on terrorism" we need to know ALL our enemies, not just a couple.

I was looking forward to watching a program on mars last wednesday. I turn on the tv, the program was canceled for something on 9/11. Its all I hear about on the radio. In school we still waste 5min on a moment of silence every day. I am sick of it. Yes it was terrible, it was important, not as important as the revolution, but still important. I am just sick of the whole thing being shown on tv so often.

For a few days, around the anniversery of the attack, they show some shows on it. I say deal with it, they will show the shows you missed after the 11th

I dont see a problem with that.

On July 4th, and around it, they have shows on the Revolutionary War, the Delcaration of Independance, etc...

It's not so much the large amount of shows that annoys me it is the WAY they show it. I like watching the shows that talk about the people who rose up and helped that day. It is the shows that seem to trivialize the day and exploit it to make money that annoy me.

I just watched a program (am watching) on CBS about the only footage that was taken in the towers.

I can understand programs like that, and i see your point with the reairing the news broadcasts.

They are airing a lot of the programs commercial free, so they arnt making that money

As if only commercials make them money.
