I've just heard that in Germany when you want to name a kid you either have to pick the name off an approve list or get a committee to approve it. It doesn't really sound like it's on the level to me. And if it is what's the government doing pocking their nose into that sort of thing :confused:

I think that's stupid. The government probably doesn't want parents naming their kids "Saddam" or "Osama." I remember some Turkish family named their kid Osama Bin Laden.

I never heard of it so I would say that is nonsense what you say. I think the furthest they MIGHT have gone is preventing people from naming their child "Hitler" but i'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a list to pick names from. :uhoh: Nothing bad about the name "Adolf" it used to be a perfectly okay name though using it these days would probably mean a hard time for your kid. :lol:

Yea...he just has to attempt the extermination of a whole race or religion. I'd say at around 10 million or so murdered we can start to think about banning his name. Now that would be cool.

i think we have a 'banned' list here with names you're not allowed to use. i know you're not allowe to name a child 'satan'.

we have a banned list. You can't call a kid fuck or other swear words or innapropiate words. and probbably not hitler or adolf either.
