i was just reading Covin's thread, and the girl is right. There's no decent conversations about nothing in here anymore. So, that's why I'm making this thread. Just talk about whatever interests you. I mean, it can't be hard to get a conversation going, can it? and because there IS no main topic, you can't go OFF topic!!! (god I'm brilliant...)

but if there is no topic, there is nothing to talk about, exept the not having a topic, like i am doing now. and if everybody does that this'll probably end up in the spam forum.

Ready for the topic to being in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

:spam:

I know you mean all well and good by making this, but... it'll end up being just that. Spam.

Let me ask you something... what makes a topic? A TOPIC.

Well, I don't think it's hard to detect. I mean... I'm sarcastic most of the time and I guess it just depends who you're talking to. =\

One of my friends is always serious so when he says something sarcastic, which is not his nature, it's hard to detect. A differnet friend of mine is ALWAYS being sarcastic and mean, but he still makes me laugh knowing he's mostly just-kidding.

But... then again... I laughed during the first battle scene in Saving Private Ryan, so... maybe it's just me.

It's easy to detect, if you know the speaker and the style she normally uses while speaking.

Maybe when people put emphasis on words like "oh i REALLY think that's interesting =/, ugh". You know smilies are what are used to show what emotion we are using when we say somthing. For example:

1. Nice day isn't it :/ 2. Nice day isn't it :)

yeah, i mean sometimes people can get offended when they don't get the sarcasm.... and then you have a fight on your hands. It can be quite annoying really. Now, this is the kind of small day-to-day topic I feel should be discussed more often here...
