Put this man in a mental home before he hurts someone. I'm not kidding. He is legitimately scary.

Heh, people seem to think children's films and toys really have a profound effect on kids who watch them. Unlikely to be that lasting, I think.

That guy goes even changes his voice to a nutty one when he's telling about what Satan would do, well, what's there to say. =p But, on the real issue: it's certainly plausible that Disney intentionally introduced a lesbian character to make a statement especially given same-sex marriages are a hot topic. So he could be right, but it's just hard to agree that watching that film would "make you gay" or that having homosexual characters would be a negative thing.

But it's not really that different from criticising Disney films for being sexist or racist. Those claims often are rather dubious too and consist of filtering a work of art through your own ideological goggles to point out bias or conspiracies, like Kevin Swanson here. To reinforce this point, surprise suprise – this film, too, has been accused for being racist because the characters are white and some people don't know what Sámi people look like: Disney's Frozen Whitewashing Controversy | Know Your Meme

Btw, I googled "Kevin Swanson" and apparently he's not in Wikipedia and has only like 1000 Twitter followers, but has 7 pages full of news on "Right Wing Watch". Americans sure love "all liberals are shitheads" and "all conservatives all shitheads" type of trashy smear political culture. :lulz:

Too many French people...

You think he'd have a problem with the Little Mermaid if it were top-fish/bottom-human? Or is he fully anti-mermaid?

The smarter people leave a group, and the craziness of the remainder intensifies, driving the vaguely sensible to leave, and the craziness of the remainder intensifies.... What you're left with are the die-hards, the people who don't have anything else and have to capitalise on what they have left.

It's not particularly surprising that people like this are knocking around on talk shows and the like - the people who in the past might have acted as a moderating force aren't there any more.

Aye, that's what makes up most of the political talk-shows where "pundits" discuss matters of policy. It usually ends up being a mud-slinging match about why one party is worse than the other. Basically, it's little more than arguing over which football team is better.
