Although i definately don't agree with his point of view (mainly cos my dad's a crazy 'creationist' and the stuff they spout forth is nuts)...

Dinosaurs and men existing together well hmm maybe... Dragon and monster type 'legends' anyone? - they must have come from somewhere. I'm pretty sure i read once that they'd found spearheads or footprints or something of man, next to dinosaur prints/bones. So i guess that it's a possibility at least.

er wow. google gives some very suprising results. Here's some bits i copied and pasted from the net for you guys to search on. These plus all these so called sightings around the world certainly 'fire the imagination'.

  1. Human & Dinosaur Fossils. Human bones and tools coexist in the same fossil layers as dinosaur bones in Texas and the Dakotas.
  2. Human & Dinosaur Footprints. Footprints of dinosaurs, humans and other mammals coexist in the same fossil layers in Texas and New Mexico.
  3. Native American Petroglyphs. Cave and cliff drawings in Utah and Colorado crudely depict certain dinosaur species (dated from 400 A.D. to 1300 A.D.).
  4. Ica Stones. Ceremonial burial stones discovered in Ica, Peru depict numerous species of dinosaurs, some in activities with man (dated from 500 A.D. to 1500 A.D.).
  5. Acambaro Figurines. Ceramic and stone figurines discovered in Acambaro, Mexico represent many species of dinosaurs (dated from 800 B.C. to 200 A.D.).

Google on any of the above and be suprised. The Ica Stones for instance show pics of dinosaur type creatures. Those along with cave drawings suggest that man must have coexisted with dinosaurs at some point. Guess the more intelligent species won out - they got :0wned:

Or maybe two layers moved because of an earthquake. But luckily it is possible to determine the age of things if you look at their C-isotopes.

There are many different methods that can be used. We're accurate within 5000 years now, unprecedented in its accuracy.

If humans and dinosaurs coexisted, where is the concrete evidence? We know about aurochs and the "mammallian explosion" that happened post-dinosaurs. What happened, then?

Indeed, google gives some pretty good results. i did find many famous scientific sites by searching "humans and dinosaurs" : www.bible.ca www.answersingenesis.org www.creationists.org www.biblebelievers.org www.acts2.com/thebibletruth www.answersingenesis.org www.seeking-god.co.uk

Even the argument that someone had to have created the first single-celled organisms has been disproved by scientific experiments. By simulating the early Earth's atmosphrere and jolting electricity into the mixture, organic compounds (the basis of all life) can be formed easily.

So basically every little argument creationists turn to has been disproved by years of science.
