Ahh, politics.

It's interesting to think about the rhetoric used, and the conditions that the missions involve, and the argument about mission creep in the second video.

Times change, people change and the opinions & politics with them change as well, nothing extraordinary or deceitful in that. Today John McCain argues for more troops to be sent into Iraq but there's 13 years and different situation between Iraq & Haiti.

Ok, I used to be all for pulling out, however I talked to my uncle and here is his feeling on the issue. The instant we pull out of Iraq, Iran will storm in and take over, thus having even more influence in the Middle East. It's not that far fetched of a conclusion...

A bit simplistic, however I just heard the nutshell version of what he really had to say...
