I skipped over the whole thread..anyhow. Marijuana is NOT the only thing out there that eases pain is it? I bet alot of money that there are other medicines out there that will help relief pain, so use them!

i support the ban just to make sure people that dont need actually dont use it.

I have a friend who had a permit to smoke medical marijuania and it came i a tin can and was grown by the goverment.

He smoke it because of his glaucoma. You can say it doesnt help but Harry can attest first hand that it does help.

Its also a proven fact that many cancer patients recieving chemo and radiation treatments who smoke marijuania have reduced side effects of the treatments such as cramps and naseau and vomiting.

I think medical marijuana ought to be legalized and should be available only from a doctor.

The problem is they are trying to seperate the part of marijuania that helps and the part that gets you high. Problem is the two are closely related.

Why does it matter if people use marijuana for recreational use anyway? Marijuana isn't any more dangerous than alcohol.

Anyone who says that is parroting "War on Drugs" dogma; it's proven that alcohol destroys braincells...it's not proven that marijuana kills any brain cells whatsoever. I've smoked thousands of joints and have not suffered any ill-effects of it--EEGs, CT scans, et cetera, are normal, and even IQ tests state absolutely no reduced capacity in mental cognition, memory retention, or anything else (in me or anyone who has been undergone clincal test). In fact, I scored higher in perception after long-term use. My buddy was an alcoholic and after 20 years of binge drinking, he got a CT scan and they found a huge black region in his frontal lobes--they were astounded that he could even walk and talk.
