Well, if they're going to have a civil war now, they probably will after we pull out at the 'opportune' time. pleased.gif I hope they do, so we feel the need to go back.

CopperHeadcontrol of the region and the oil there.

Our society is dependent on oil, what would you suggest? a V8 hybrid muscle car?

Don't bring that up, there seem to be a lot of tree huggers in this world who would be happy driving a hybrid lunchbox that a moped can pass on the highway  I pray to GOD it never comes down to that, or I am dead first. Death to hybrid cars and all who praise them.

Billy3384I told you why this war is being fought. It is to protect our citizens and anyothers who might get caught in a terrorist attack.

America could invade almost any country on that premise, or even start another 'Red Scare' (but for terrorists). You could say "well, due to recent intelligence, we think it may be best if we go in and establish a democratic government in because they JUST MIGHT try a terrorist attack." Any country could start one, and Iraq (if it even was), was/is definetly not as much a threat as North Korea.

Our of curiosity, what alternative fuel would you be happy with? Oil will run out eventually, it's not a case of if, just when. While I'm pretty certain it won't happen within our lifetimes, I'm just wondering what you'd be happy with instead of 'gasoline'.

Solar energy - with those cars that run on electricity and re-charge during the day

Something that can get out of it's own way and skateboarders don't pass me by. I want horsepower along with being efficient. All the hybrids and alternative powered vehicles I have seen are pathetic, not only looking but operating. But I am sure somewhere in the future they could be made to provide the consumer with the best of both worlds.

:agreed: Like BeeF said, I don't want a car that gets 70 MPG, but has 50 horsepower. 30 MPG is good enough for me ... My truck is a 4 cylinder, but it scoots just fine. We'd be well off if we could do these things. 1. Figure out how to power autos with stupidity 2. Drain all stupidity from liberals, if it's even possible to store all of it :D 3. Give every person on the planet a stupidity-powered vehicle, and everyone would have enough fuel for all eternity :) Isn't that simple?

I'd just like to clarify I am all for alternative power, but it has to match what we are used to now. In terms of acceleration and top speed. Man I know this is off topic but what specs is the best hybrid/alternitive powered vehicle out there.
