Cops: Mom Used Hammer on Son Over Homework 4 minutes ago Strange News - AP ST. LOUIS - A 34-year-old woman was charged Tuesday with using a hammer and pliers to punish her son for not doing his homework. Police say Nancy Boyd-Porter had her other sons hold down the victim while she hit him in the hand with a hammer. She then squeezed the boy's fingers with a pair of pliers and threatened to break them. The boy said she then threw the hammer at him, hitting him in the ankle. Police said the mother admitted to using the pliers to frighten the child. She told detectives that she was punishing her son for not starting his homework before she got home that night. Boyd-Porter faces four felony charges, including abuse of a child, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Once again, a woman who should never have given birth. That is no way to discipline your child. She deserves every charge that she is facing (in my opinion).
Time to do my homework.. :uhoh:
That's rediculous and sick. A perfect example of why people should be verified and signed off on before they can have children. That just pisses me off.

They seriously oughta introduce some kind of parenting test for women to take before being allowed to have kids. Come to think of it, that would help with underage pregnancy too...

Lol, I could picture that: Dr. Phil with a couple of bodyguards, talking to her across the stage with her in a straightjacket.
If that was me I would have run away from home a long long long time ago.
seriously, how smart do you have to be to know you don't hit your children with a hammer? :smack: some really dumb people out there who should never be parents . . . .
No! I'm Spamacus!

If you hit them hard enough with a hammer, there is a possibility that they may not be capable of doing homework for a very long time, if ever. Her choice of actions were illogical. :uhm:
