OK. It's not so much as she has PMS. It's more like she needs anger managment. Let's look at the world in the past year. - Summer, 2004: Hurricane's Ivan and Charlie ravage the American Gulf Coast and Forida; earthquake in Bam, Iran kills [a lot of people] - December, 2004: Tsunami kills nearly 200,000 - January, 2005: Mt. St. Helens nearly blows itself apart (again) - Summer, 2005: Major flooding in central Europe - Hurrican Katrina kills 1,500 in New Orleans - Major earthquakes in Japan - More fu*king hurricanes - Yet more hurricanes - Even more hurricanes, including one that hits Guatmala and kills thousands - Earthquake in Pakistan kills 40,000 - Wildfires in California - All of the other stuff I forgot to add Hell, mother nature's got a rap sheet, too! And I have a feeling that Father Time is on the verge of asking for a divorce, citing "Irreconsiable Differences" as the reason. Seriously, though, what the hell is going on with our planet?

I don't see the connection between pollution and earthquakes and tsunamis.

It's the water...

There is almost a 1/4 of the weight of the moon in water on the Earth's surface. Ice/ water

Plus the melting of those ice caps cause plates techtonic...or the cracking of the surface of the Earth...

Global warming is the reason for it all...

Gaia's immune system is struggling... Maybe she will finally defeat her life-threatening cancer cells (aka humanity). OK, the scientific value of the Gaia theory is questionable - but I like the comparison ;).

I'm pretty sure I heard that so far the Kyoto treaty has only reduced pollution by something like 6% when almost 40-60% is needed to actually be making a noticable difference.
