What do yas recon, good or bad, go on have a brainfart about it, at my expense. After paying high prices for movies, now l got latest movies for one dollar fifty, awsome, from russia, legally. Avatar 1:50 hi def ! LOL ! From what l read the site is legal, well in russia anyways, l dunno much about piracy, or hacking, but l like cheap video's after being ripped off for decades by these big companies, maybe if they didnt want such huge profit margins, piracy would drop off a bit, but when they make it worth so much it will never end. Just like the sites that will sell you hacks to the latest games, its never ending.

I'm sure that it's illegal to buy movies ripped from other countries even if it's legal to do so over there.

Just because it's legal to own a ripped copy in Russia doesn't mean that it's legal to own the same exactly copy here in the US or any other company that has copyright and anti-piracy laws.

The fact that you are paying the Russian mafia doesn't make your activity any more legal. Your direct support of organized crime is not only unnecessary, but also rather despicable.

If you ask me downloading a movie for free from one of the popular filesharing sites is less problematic than buying it from a Russian website.

The only reason those websites can claim to be legal is that US companies have no way of shutting them down while the Russian government doesn't care as long as no Russian movies are sold.

You'll probably have a hard time explaining the legality of such files to authorities in the US or in Europe too. German law, at least, is quite clear that people are supposed not to buy goods if there are obvious indications that they might have been stolen.

Couldn't care less about it.

Sorry, but I don't feel like spending $20.00 on a DVD or $30.00 for a Blu-Ray when I can download the same movie for free.

If it was something especially good, then I'll buy it. But my standards are pretty high.

That said, I do own four copies of Black Hawk Down.

The regular 1 disc DVD, when it came out. Two disc collectors edition. Three disc edition. Blu ray.

It's not exactly a secret. Independent actors don't survive long on a lucrative but unfortunately illegal market, not in Russia. Organized crime is not only into drugs and prostitution.

The free alternatives are not difficult to find, I do of course not suggest you to continue downloading illegal copies, especially not if you can easily afford the legal alternatives, there are companies out there just waiting for the opportunity to destroy your life if they catch you, and no offense, but you don't sound very careful.
