Many far-left wing Dems and libs like to pretend that Obama is the new big thing. However, any well educated person whose paid attention to the political scene for a while would be able to see through the smoke screen and see that all of his policies and political beliefs are straight from old liberal playbook. Everything from tax increases, to nationalized health care, to the disarmament of America. He offers the same change that every liberal Democrat candidate has had to offer since McGovern. Oh, and here is a video of him saying how he wants to disarm America and make us more vulnearable to enemy attacks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o84PE871BE This guy is mentally insane if he thinks that disarming the US will make the world any safer. The notion that if the US disarmed itself the rest of the world would follow is completely asinine. Nations like North Korea and Iran are not interested in disarming themselves. Disarming the US would simply give them the advantage and allow them to destroy free nations. And why cut defense spending when the US needs it most, when we have terrorist organizations and radical religious zealots threatening Western civilization? Why cut defense spending and divert our tax dollars to wasteful social programs which already suck up tons of our tax dollars anyway? I would really like to see how much our government spends on social programs since so many libs complain about defense spending and want more money for their social programs. I bet many would be suprised to see that statistic and then compare it to how much we spend on defense. And if Obama wants to rid the world of ICBM's, then why does he want to stop the development of weapons that could render ICBM's useless? Where's the logic in that? In fact, where is the logic in anything he says? Anyway, since Obama keeps saying that McCain is running for Bush's 3rd term (don't see how that could be since McCain is one of the most liberal Republicans in Congress and has repeatedly sided with the left), McCain should simply reply by saying that Obama is running for Jimmy Carter's 2nd term and that Obama is the same as every extreme liberal candidate who has ran for the presidency since McGovern.

I would rather have another Jimmy Carter than another Bush. How about someone with a little charisma, someone who might actually help the country and improve our in the gutter foreign policy?

There's plenty to be anti about that wacko. I am sick of him being glorified by the media and the far-left as some sort of messiah and the bringer of hope and change. He sure doesn't bring much hope to me. The only changes he brings is defeat in Iraq, less security, socialized health care, more taxes, and every liberal policy ever conceived. If he's elected president, he will be the worst since Carter.

I agree with John Doe. This man is insane. Not to mention that his policies will basically make me dirt poor. I have no reason to support a man who will endanger me, take away my hard earned money, and further run everything I do into the ground.

What pisses me off about Obama is Obama supporters. The most common reason I here someone give for voting for Obama is that they are "for change." What, da fuck? What change? Tell me what he will change. "I want to change things." is not a platform or a policy, it is just a bunch of bullshit. Anyone who tries to sum up their campagin is an idiot. Tell us exactly what you tand for, what bills you will suggest, and what plans you have.

How? I want an answer, not just a snarky little comment complete with rolling-the-eyes-sarcasm.

Haha, ok, I've seen my share of Obama-hating threads, but that statement actually made me laugh out loud.

Kudos to you on your ability to be completely retarded.

Oh, and just for your information, EVERYONE sums up their campaign in a slogan. Straight-talk Express, anyone? Just because Obama's happens to be "Change We Can Believe In" and "HOPE," doesn't make it any less legit. It represents what the public wants--change from this shitty Republicanized world run by the Bush Administration and passed onto McCain, and hope that there's something better waiting for America.

I'm sorry not everyone agrees that war is a good thing, but how about everyone stop twisting his words into something they're not?

Obviously the media does that, it's their job as a shitty medium to get information, but you'd think that the politically-inclined public would be smarter than that.

Oh well!
