BBC NEWS | World | Americas | Obama is to reverse stem cell ban

I think this reinforces my theory that he is in fact atheist or agnostic. I'd happily take a bullet for the man anyday.

Anyone who replies saying that they are Christian but are for stem cell research, needs to rexamine the values of their religion. Unless of course you believe in the updated values that the Vatican hands out every few years.

I am Christian but am for stem cell research. ;)

My personal beliefs trump the beliefs lined out by my denomination. That's the way it should be.

On that note WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!?
I am Christian but am for stem cell research. ;)

You're far more reasonable than any self-proclaimed Christian I've met so far, then. Congratulations to you, as well as thanks. :)

Funnily enough I'm agnostic and AGAINST embryonic stem cell research(though by all means use up the ones that have already been aborted.). They can already take your skin cells and convert them into stem cells.

Yes. That's the way it should be but unfortuntely it's not. If you think it is that then I'd like to announce my belief and affliation with the tooth fairy.

President ObamaI believe that the restrictions that President Bush has placed on funding of human embryonic stem cell research have handcuffed our scientists and hindered our ability to compete with other nations.
This just about sums up my views on the whole stem-cell research issue for the past 2 years.

Tonight I drink to your health, Mr. President!
Chill out mate I only heard this news yesterday!

I meant you've been gone from the forums for ages! What have you been up to? =p

Get into a car accident, become paraplegic, and then talk to us about the morality of stem cell research.

Oh. How embrassing.

Well I've actually been in Africa testing the effects of fungicide on cheese.

But the more truthful answer would be working and getting very, very drunk.

I don't recognise you. Have you changed your name?

Sounds like a good time. =p

On this particular forum, I've gone under the aliases of Zamamee (with an alternate 1337-speak spelling that I can't possibly remember the keyboard shortcuts for), Jesus of Suburbia, and Sex_Taco.

Ahh yes I remember you. Will the moderators hurt us for chit chatting in a thread about stem cell research?
