I was in the shower a few days ago (where I do my best thinking), thinking about Biblical Christianity (I often do), when a startling idea came to me. Now I've the theories and stories about people who believe that God is an alien:rolleyes: , but, until that day, I'd taken them worth a grain of salt. However, on that day, I began thinking about all the miraculous events from the Bible, as well as the actual terminology, and I came to realize that every miracle (that I know about, anyway) - miracles which normally seem, well, miraculous - become logical and understandable if they were caused by aliens. Am I just crazy? Am I missing something? Not to offend anyone, but what can it possibly mean to think that my God might be E.T.?

Read some of Erich von Däniken's books, for example "Arrival of the Gods : Revealing the Alien Landing Sites at Nazca (1998)" or "The Gods Were Astronauts: Evidence of the True Identities of the Old »Gods« (2002). At least they are entertaining. But don't believe all his pseudo-scientific stuff... Most of it is pulled out his arse.

Of course "god" is an alien, he is obviously not from earth is he ??!! The term alien or more exact - extra terrestrial - means not of the earth. God is in "heaven" or "the "heavens", now where exactly do you think that is ?, New York ?, Paris ?, no, obviously heaven or the heavens refers to a place outside the earth. Now think about what is outside the earth... lots of shit including space, suns, moons and the usual place to find life forms - other planets !. This has been my belief ever since I was taught religion at school, and I'm not alone. Here is a good starting point if you are up for some research - http://stargods.org/IndexPage.htm As you know, DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THAT YOU READ, but I think you will gain some insight into the "truth", whatever that is. :lookaround:

Im an athiest for a reason. The concepts and ideas of religion are far too complicated and none of it can be verified.
But if this "God" is not of this universe, I dont think he can really be classified as an extraterrestrial.

god being extraterrestrial does make some sense. Here we have a supernatural being that can do anything. When controling over the humans, he needed to give them a story to follow them, so he created the Bible. Its not like hes going to say to the primative humans that he came from another planet, and he has a hyper drive, and that he uses string based teleportation abilities, this would confuse the dumb humans, so he just said "i am just more powerfull then you, obey me, and if any of you doubt me, youll all go ermm, (hmm whats a scary sounding place, haserden, helos, hey, hell, ya thats it!) Hell!" :D
