Do any of you guys ever fake being sick from school or work or whatever just to skip, or maybe to catch up on homework you didn't do? Today would be my second day in a row. Yesturday I was throwing up at school so they sent me home, but today I was still sick but I kind of over-exaggerated my symptoms to my parents and they bought it pretty easily. It isn't hard to trick my parents. Sneeze a few times and cough, then maybe use the bathroom and you have them convinced. As a matter of fact my mom encouraged me to stay home. Not really the best way to solve your problems but at least I can get some of my homework done that I haven't been doing.

Of course. Did it then and do it now :) Faking being sick and driving to the beach is a blast. Just don't get caught.

A few times a month maybe (it depends). But that's just because I oversleep and I can't get arsed to go up, so I sleep the whole day instead.

Sometimes it is good to take a break. I think it is totally acceptable to skip work or school for a day. Just take a break. Clear your mind. It feels good.

That's why sick days were invented. No questions asked until the 3rd day in a row, then you need a Doc note.

No. Besides, I don't need to, I always end up with an excess number of holidays towards the end of the year... last year I had to take half a month off work over Christmas... * Mr. Matt shudders. I'm trying to use them up before Christmas this year, but I'm running out of time... Besides, there's no-one here who'll take my work for me, so I end up having to stay late the following day to catch up. Hell, they're having to hire a temp to fill my position when I go away for 2 weeks in a fortnight. My life's easier if I just turn up...

Though I'm sure Beef knows better, anyone trying this has to make sure they don't come back from a sick day with a nice new tan. ;)

It's been a while since I've had a (*cough*) "sick" day. I think the last time was when BF1942 came out. I actually stayed home to play a video game. Pathetic, really... :lookaround:

I mainly skip school to catch up on homework. That is really the only reason why actually that I ever skip.
