JaKoB 88I mainly skip school to catch up on homework. That is really the only reason why actually that I ever skip.

Oh man that's nerdy as hell ;) I remember skipping school one day and spending the day over this females house drinking vodka. Oh man youth is so much fun.

I used to, before I discovered how fun and interesting it could be to push my own limits. Attending pretty much every single class all of a sudden didn't get my grades up very much, but oh well.

Nope, well sometimes when I'm feeling a bit bad, and could go to school probably, I'm staying. But hmm when HL2 was released, I was sick only that day, and what did I do? yeltongue.gif

When I was in High School, I just skipped some classes because I was so tired at the morning or I didn't have motivation to go some class (like Swedish). Sometimes I brought "absence note", sometimes I didn't.

But when I worked at Pirelli cable factory for 4 months at last Summer, I never was off from work if I wasn't really sick (once I was). Now that I'm working at Nordic Aluminium metal profile factory through lease firm, it's even stricter. Today I was so tired when I woke up at 6:00 that I would have seriously wanted to stay in bed, but I had/have no choice but to get up and go to work. In High School it was so easy..

JaKoB 88Do any of you guys ever fake being sick from school or work or whatever just to skip, or maybe to catch up on homework you didn't do? Today would be my second day in a row. Yesturday I was throwing up at school so they sent me home, but today I was still sick but I kind of over-exaggerated my symptoms to my parents and they bought it pretty easily. It isn't hard to trick my parents. Sneeze a few times and cough, then maybe use the bathroom and you have them convinced. As a matter of fact my mom encouraged me to stay home. Not really the best way to solve your problems but at least I can get some of my homework done that I haven't been doing.

Well, in school, I just skipped--didn't care if my parents found out or not, I was always in trouble for worse stuff, so it made little difference. Grade 6 and grade 8, I spent over a third of the school year away from school. Work, I didn't skip that much--couldn't afford to. But sometimes I would if I was too hungover (and so kinda-sorta sick), or couldn't sleep the night before. Rarely did I miss work just to goof around with friends and drink beer, but it sure was fun when I did.
