RelanderWhen I was in High School, I just skipped some classes because I was so tired at the morning or I didn't have motivation to go some class (like Swedish). Sometimes I brought "absence note", sometimes I didn't. But when I worked at Pirelli cable factory for 4 months at last Summer, I never was off from work if I wasn't really sick (once I was). Now that I'm working at Nordic Aluminium metal profile factory through lease firm, it's even stricter. Today I was so tired when I woke up at 6:00 that I would have seriously wanted to stay in bed, but I had/have no choice but to get up and go to work. In High School it was so easy..
I hear ya bud i too have to be up early like 5am early everyday it aint good. when that damm alarm goes off i honestly think to myself i really cant be arsed with this crap no more, but we goto take the crap for the money thats life!! but yeah back on topic i do sometimes pull a sicky and most of the time:beer:is to blame.
Sometimes I just can't hack the idea of work, so yeah, I threw a sickie. What the frig, eh?

Damn straight. Bout 2 years ago I pretty much exaggerated a week off, was brilliant, wake up at 7am, mom comes in and says i dont look too good, go back to sleep till 10 or so, watch some TV, eat something, then play the Ocarina of Time till about 4pm. Thats the life, hehe. NOTE: Only downside is that, it sucks having to sit inside all day. Especially when all your mates go out in the evening.
At school, I never actually took a day off ill, unless I was at deaths door. However, at college, if I really cant be bothered to take a lesson, I dont. It doesnt happen often at all, maybe 3-4 times a year, because I enjoy the lessons - thats why I'm doing them.
I'd just like to point out, in case any from work ever reads this, that the above post by me refers to previous employment and certainly not my current position. Yeah...
Haha. I'm ditching right now, but I didn't have to use the whole, "I'm sick." I just left after lunch. If my teacher asks I usually say I forgot/didn't want to come back. :]
Besides, I was having leg cramps this morning when I woke up, so I could hardly walk, and when I did my leg would practically give out. Man, leg cramps fucking suck!
Skipping a class or two won't hurt...
Just don't make it a habit.
Well when I was younger I used to skip school all the time, but now days, there isn't really any purpose, because I want to learn something.
JaKoB 88Do any of you guys ever fake being sick from school or work or whatever just to skip, or maybe to catch up on homework you didn't do? Today would be my second day in a row. Yesturday I was throwing up at school so they sent me home, but today I was still sick but I kind of over-exaggerated my symptoms to my parents and they bought it pretty easily. It isn't hard to trick my parents. Sneeze a few times and cough, then maybe use the bathroom and you have them convinced. As a matter of fact my mom encouraged me to stay home. Not really the best way to solve your problems but at least I can get some of my homework done that I haven't been doing.
I did it at least 6 times last year. Mainly because I wouldn't study for a test than I just say I am sick and study a bit the day I am "sick" Once I did it because a show was on I wanted to watch  Also once I missed the bus to school and didn't feel like walking so I went in 4 hours later and just forged a note saying I wasn't feeling well.
Never did, don't plan to. The last time I missed a day was several years ago. School is too intresting for me at lest to skip. Anyways I get overwhelmed with homework and my parents never let me:p
